Available as a local for the Gold Coast, Brisbane & Melbourne regions, Dane is also available to travel internationally with a current Australian passport & clean police record, having worked across locations in Malta, India, Singapore, Finland, Japan, China, Cambodia, the U.S.A, Timor Leste, New Zealand & the Solomon Islands - he is comfortable to be on the road and always prepared for travel.

He is equally as comfortable managing a sound department on large-scale feature films and tv/streaming series as he is working in a tight-knit documentary crew.

Earlier in his career, Dane worked as a sound editor, so he knows what is needed from the location sound to ensure all the right elements are there for the edit and mix.

Dane has a love of language and has mixed & recorded dialogue in English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Marathi, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Khmer, Thai, Russian, Finnish, Yiddish, Tetum, Pijin/Neo-Solomonic & multiple Aboriginal languages.

Holds a Working With Children/Blue Card certification in both Victoria and Queensland, a first aid certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid), a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification and an Australian boat & jet-ski license.
